Under Section 7(9) of the AML Act, for the purposes of preventing and combating money laundering and terrorist financing, ensuring that data obtained during customer due diligence can be linked to player transactions, and enabling effective supervisory activities, the Data Controller is entitled to record the natural-person customer’s image and video footage of their activity within the premises, and to store the image in its electronic image-recording system.
The legal basis for processing is compliance with a legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, as the obligation to make video recordings is prescribed by Sections 37(7) and 51(4) of the SZTFH Decree and Section 7(9) of the AML Act. This processing is mandatory.
The gambling supervisory authority may inspect data recorded by the video system for the purpose of performing its statutory supervisory duties.

- All games available in the Casino must be observable. Cameras must be suitable for showing and following on screen the stakes (including chip colours and legibility), gaming equipment and accessories (dice, cards, ball, etc.) and the course of the game.
- It must be possible to observe and verify the filling and emptying of slot machines, jackpot payouts, any separate room used for accounting for gaming equipment, and the route to the place of accounting. If gaming equipment is accounted for in a separate room, that room must also be equipped with a camera and the route leading to the accounting location must also be observable.
- Possible disturbances and the security measures applied in the Casino must be observable and recordable throughout the entire gaming area and at every gaming location (gaming table, slot machine, etc.).
- The Guest’s entry and identification process must be verifiable.
- Cameras must be capable of displaying the date and time to the precision of one second and, depending on their location, the bets placed and the receipt of cash and tips, while keeping events involving gaming equipment continuously visible. Video recordings and other documents concerning extraordinary events occurring in the gaming casino or measures taken against players must be retained by the Data Controller for at least thirty days.
- Under Section 7(9) of the AML Act, the Data Controller must retain video recordings for 45 days from recording. On notification by the supervisory authority, this period must be extended until completion of the supervisory authority’s proceedings.
Persons affected by camera surveillance may include Casino guests and players, as well as employees working on the Casino premises.
Detailed data-processing rules relating to use of the video system are laid down by the Data Controller in a separate notice for its employees, security service and video-surveillance personnel and are enforced accordingly.
The video system is operated by the Data Controller, and the Data Controller’s employees (casino director, manager, department head, surveillance operator, surveillance assistant, and any person designated by management) are entitled to access the recordings.
The Data Controller uses live monitor surveillance and records the footage.
Storage location: the video servers are located in a dedicated, separate, air-conditioned room, namely the server room.
The cameras operate continuously, 24 hours a day, every day.

In addition, for player-protection purposes, the data subject must declare that they are not subject to a restriction based on the player-protection register.
Newsletters are primarily sent by e-mail, but the data subject may also provide a telephone number in order to receive shorter supplementary information by SMS, particularly information about the Data Controller’s current events, taking account of the characteristics of that communication channel.
The legal basis for processing is the data subject’s voluntary, specific and informed consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. (Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.)
Processing lasts until consent is withdrawn or, failing withdrawal, until the Data Controller ceases to provide the marketing newsletter service. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, free of charge, without restriction or justification, by sending an e-mail to lvc_diamond@lvcd.hu, by sending a postal letter to the Data Controller’s registered office, or by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data subject may also terminate the SMS communication channel at any time using the link at the end of the SMS message. To ensure the accuracy of personal data provided during subscription and to prevent incorrect subscriptions, the Data Controller sends a message containing a “confirmation link” to the e-mail address provided by the data subject.
