Punto-banco
Baccarat
Players can bet on the banker (banco) or the player (punto) with a 1:1 payout ratio (except when the banker wins with a 6, in which case the bet is paid at a 1:2 ratio). Players can also bet on a tie with an 8:1 payout ratio.
Card Values
- Ace: 1
- Face cards and 10: 0
- All other cards: Their face value
The objective of the game is to get as close as possible to 9 points. A hand can consist of two or three cards, which must be drawn according to the rules below.
When determining the point value, only the last digit of the total sum is considered.
(For example: 6 + 7 = 13, so the hand is worth 3 points; 10 + Ace = 11, so the hand is worth 1 point; 9 + 3 + 6 = 18, so the hand is worth 8 points.)
If either the banco or the punto has a hand worth 0 points, this is called “Baccarat.” The first and third dealt cards belong to the player, while the second and fourth cards belong to the banker.
